Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process for

M.L.S. Ist Semester to IVth Semester (2 Year) (Credit Based System)

 

Eligibility : Since, September 2001, S. P. College of Law, Chandrapur has been recognized by Nagpur University as a Post Graduate Institute of specialized students. The qualification for admission to Master’s Degree in Labour Studies are as follows :

(a)  Every candidate for admission to the course for the Degree of the Master of Labour Studies must have taken Bachelors Degree of the Nagpur University or Gondwana University in any faculty or a degree of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.

(b)  Production of Eligibility Certificate is a condition precedent for admission for students coming from Universities other than the Gondwana University.

( Candidates are advised to approach the Nagpur University or Gondwana University well in advance to ascertain their eligibility for admission to the M. L. S. Course ).

(c)  Students from Nagpur University are required to produce transference certificate within less than tree months after joining the College.

 

Procedure for Admission

 

Candidates are called for a Written Test conducted by the College. They have also to appear for “Test” and participate in Group Discussion. Candidates are then called for Final interview. Candidates have to appear for the Entrance Examination at their own expense.

 

Admission Requirements

 

Application for the Admission should be made before the 30th June in the prescribed Form (available on payment of Rs. 55/- in cash or by Money Order to the Principal of the College). No stamps or Postal orders are accepted. Government servants and others in employment should apply through proper channel. Application Forms are supplied for the whole month of June.

Those who have appeared at any of the qualifying examinations but whose results are not declared prior to the submission of their applications may apply in anticipation of the results which should be communicated within 24 hours of the declaration of the result.
